About FEW Kansai
Our Mission and Values
FEW originated from the fact that it is difficult for
foreign women in Japan to find their way around, both professionally and
socially. Being literally FEW in the world, there is a clear need among foreign
women in Japan for a platform where they can meet each other, relax, network
and find like-minded friends. This is what FEW provides: professional and
personal development in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, for foreign women
in Japan.
From this idea stems our mission: “To provide a fountain of
networking, career development, knowledge and information exchange, skill
enhancement, support and friendship among foreign women that live in Japan.”
Though FEW originally stands for Foreign Executive Women, it is definitely not an organization dedicated to executive women alone. We welcome any woman, currently employed or not, who feels attracted by the activities and environment that FEW has to offer.
